FAQs

A prop trading firm provides traders with access to firm capital in exchange for a portion of the profits they generate. Traders do not use their own money, reducing personal financial risk, but must meet specific performance targets, such as profit goals and drawdown limits. Prop trading firms often offer evaluation programs, and once traders pass, they receive funding to trade various financial markets, including forex, commodities, indices, and cryptocurrencies.

DNA Funded is a new Australian prop trading firm that just launched and is offering traders the opportunity to access firm capital through evaluation challenges. Backed by top Australian forex broker DNA Markets as their liquidity provider, DNA Funded provides competitive trading conditions, including tight spreads.

To become a funded trader with DNA Funded you need to pass their evaluation process. These challenges include the Single Helix (1-step), Double Helix (2-step), and Rapid Challenge (1-step), with account sizes ranging from 5K to 200K. Each challenge will have specific profit targets, drawdown limit, and risk management rules. To learn more, you can read about how to get into prop trading

DNA Funded offers three main challenges: the Single Helix, Double Helix, and Rapid Challenge. The Single Helix is a 1-step evaluation with a 10% profit target, while the Double Helix involves a 2-step process with a 10% target in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2. The Rapid Challenge is a fast-paced 1-step challenge requiring traders to achieve a 5% profit target within 10 days. All challenges offer an 80% profit split upon completion.

The new daily profit cap at DNA Funded limits you to earning a maximum of 40% of your payout target in a single trading day. For example, if your target is $10,000, only $4,000 in profit from one day will count toward that goal. This rule was introduced on 15 May 2025 to support consistent trading and meet broker backed prop firm standards.
